How to remove scale & Clean:
Step①: Fill 0.5L water and a drop of detergent into the kettle, wash the interior of the kettle thoroughly with a sponge and rinse it clean;
Step②: Fill 1.5L water, some vinegar or citric acid into the kettle, boil the water and then discard it;
Step③: Boil a pot of plain water once or twice and discard it to remove any remaining vinegar odor or taste.

Descaling： Under normal use, a deposit of scale may form on the inside of the Kettle. This scale build-up can be delayed by pouring out old water and refilling before each use. If descalling is required, follow the directions below: 1. Unplug Power Cord from wall outlet and allow Kettle to cool completely. 2. Open the Lid 3. Scale which has accumulated inside the Kettle can be removed by boiling equal parts of white vinegar and water (2 cups of each is recommended). Once the water has boiled, allow mixture to stand overnight. Empty out mixture and fill Kettle to the MAX level with fresh water. Bring water to a boil and discard. For heavy scale build-up, repeat this process.

4. Repeat as needed.
